Sue Werner Thoresen Exhibition
Inspired in part by the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation’s Status of Women in New Hampshire report, the Sue Werner Thoresen exhibition examines the interconnected factors that shape well-being, including education, healthcare, economic opportunity, caregiving, safety, representation, and societal expectations. Through a wide range of artistic approaches, participating artists reflect on how these experiences intersect and compound—shaped by race, class, ability, sexuality, geography, and access to resources. This exhibition is presented in memory of Sue Werner Thoresen (1944–2024), a dedicated advocate for community well-being and the advancement of opportunities for women and families in New Hampshire. On view at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery April 29-May 31.
