The Large and Small of It invites artists to play with size, balance, and the dialogue between the grand and the minute. No matter the scale, member artists are encouraged to consider how dimensions influence the way we experience art. This exhibition celebrates proportion, perspective, and presence.
The Large and Small of It

$40 | Every artist can submit up to 4 small pieces and 1 large piece
Large Work
2D Art:
Up to 1 piece per artist
Minimum size: 48" x 48"
Maximum size: 72" on the longest side
3D Art:
Up to 1 piece per artist
Must exceed an 18" x 18" footprint
Must fit through the gallery door
Small Work
2D Art:
Up to 4 pieces per artist
Framed size must not exceed 12" on the longest side (including frame)
3D Art:
Up to 4 pieces per artist
Must fit within an 8" x 8" footprint
Unframed / Matted Work (in plastic sleeves):
Up to 3 pieces per artist
Must be matted to 8" x 10" or 11" x 14"
If unmatted, must include a stiff backing board of either size for easy viewing
No canvases in sleeves and nothing thicker than ¼"
Card Packs:
Up to 3 packs per artist
Single cards not accepted
All artists exhibiting online or at any NHAA in person venues must adhere to our PRESENTATION AND FRAMING GUIDELINES and review the NHAA EXHIBITION AGREEMENT.

Eligible artists: Open to all 2D and 3D NHAA members
Commission Structure: Artist retains 60%, NHAA retains 40% of sale price.

Drop off for accepted work: Sunday, February 1, 4 pm-6 pm and Monday, February 2, 9 am-6 pm.
Pickup Work: Sunday, March 1, 4 pm-8 pm and Monday, March 2, 9 am-6 pm.
