Photography Group

Meet the Group

In the last three years the NHAA Photography Group has doubled in size and presently has eighteen members. The group provides an opportunity for fine art photographers to present and discuss the progress of their work in a positive, nurturing environment and to create exhibition projects that members can participate in.

Guiding Philosophy

Facilitated by Gary Samson and Claudia Rippee, this group is an informal gathering of artists who all share a love of photography. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome. Discussion topics are driven by group participants and range from artistic vision to techniques, to image processing, to what’s new in photography equipment. Participants are invited to show samples of their work and get helpful feedback.

Past projects have included themed-based photography books as well as traditional gallery exhibitions.

Collaboration and a willingness to share knowledge that enhances the quality of members work is the guiding philosophy of this group.
