NHAA holds silent auction of members’ works
PORTSMOUTH – The New Hampshire Art Association is holding a silent auction from Oct. 31 through Nov. 16 at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery.
“Our silent auction is more than a fundraiser,” said Carol Reynolds, Levy Gallery manager. “It is a reciprocal appreciation between our patrons and our artists. We will be offering close to 40 of our best sellers’ artwork for bids and hope to generate enough funds to offer more exhibitions, workshops and programs for the community."
Bidding begins on Oct. 31 and ends Nov. 16 with a reception catered by Chill Catering from 6 to 8 p.m. Winning bids will be posted at the end of the evening.
“While this is a fundraiser for the NHAA, it is also chance to make art more accessible to the public,” said NHAA Board President Renee Giffroy. “That means the public will have the opportunity to bid on, and potentially take home, high quality artwork at very reasonable prices.”
The pieces of art are by NHAA’s juried members and will be in all media
