Twenty-seven New Hampshire Art Association juried artists including photographers, printmakers, painters and illustrators will be displaying and selling their work during the 85th annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair.
One of the oldest craft fairs in the country, the fair takes place August 4 through the 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH.
The grounds will be transformed into a fairground of white tents filled with fine craft created by more than 200 master craftsmen plus fine artists from NHAA, based in Portsmouth. NHAA has had a long history with the League of NH Craftsmen having formed a partnership when the League no longer included a fine art category.
Located in Tent A, NHAA artists include Barbara Stevens Adams, Phil Bean, Eileen Belanger, Debbie Campbell, Davida Cook, Heather Crowley, Becky Darling, Sherie Dowsett, Holly Elkins, Steve Genatossio , Roger Goldenberg , Maryclare Heffernan, Marylou Ashooh Lazos, Luci Lesmerises, Kent Maxwell , Keri McAndrews , Judith Mckenna, Lisa McManus, Robin Oliver , Susan Peterson, Joshua Prince, Betty Quinn, Joe Reardon, Marilene Sawaf, Rosanne Stavola, David Zerba.
NHAA is a non-profit art association founded in 1940, and as such is the oldest statewide art association in New Hampshire and one of the oldest in the country. There are approximately 300 juried artist members representing a wide variety of visual arts mediums including: painting, photography, printmaking, sculpting, textile art, and mixed media. NHAA talented artists all live and work regionally throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont. NHAA is based out of the Robert Lincoln Levy, 136 State Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801. The Gallery is open year-round with new exhibits monthly.
