Color is my muse. Poised to capture elusive, ephemeral moments, Olivia Janna Genereaux attended the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1986 with a major in painting and minors in illustration and textile design. In her professional life, she developed an educational philosophy and curriculum, The Art of Play, based on the same philosophy of process she uses in her studio practice. In 2014, she received her MFA from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. In her Vermont studio-gallery, Janna’s Gate, she paints and welcomes visitors.
