Created in the rural mountains of Ossipee, New Hampshire, Cassidy Thurber was born to a man who smoked Camel Blue cigarettes and worked at the gas station, and to a self-willed woman who fought people at their local apartment complex. Raised by her grandfather, she found a home in making photographic stories about her life and siblings' upbringing. Cassidy’s photographic research for what “family” and belonging means, has led her creative path in the past several years. Her endeavors have cumulated several handmade artist’s books and a large collection of photographs. With a deep love for photobooks, she is the Owner of Underwear Sleepover Publishing Company.
