The colorful acrylic paintings of New Hampshire Art Association artist Diane Boulet will be on display at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery during the month of August.
A native of Quebec, Canada, Boulet currently lives in Wells, Maine. She worked as a nurse for many years, but was always fascinated by painting, eventually studying art at the University of Quebec, receiving a diploma in plastic arts.
“Today I tend more to create abstract paintings, which, by their multiple possibilities and sizes, are in harmony with my firm and adventurous desire to flee my comfort zones as an artist,” Boulet said. “I freely let my imagination explore the shapes and colors that can reveal my inner impulses or ‘coups de coeur’.
