The striking acrylic paintings of New Hampshire Art Association artist Alan Shulman will be on display during the month of May.
“My hope is always to prompt the viewer to probe the image, to ask questions,” Shulman said. “Strong colors bring my visions to life; compositions that catch the eye through perspective distortion draw attention to the painting’s subject,” he added. “My work usually begins with observed reality, which I may change using memory, fantasy and dream.”
