Earth Tones

NHAA’s Environmental Awareness Working Group

Who We Are

Earth Tones is a collective of artists dedicated to deepening community connection to the natural world through creativity, education, and action. Rooted in the belief that environmental stewardship begins with the choices we make every day, we use art as a tool to inspire awareness, foster respect for the planet, and encourage participation in conservation efforts. Through collaborative projects, community engagement, and environmental advocacy, Earth Tones aims to cultivate a more informed, connected, and motivated public while creating positive impact for the ecosystems and communities we share.

What we’re up to

Earth Tones, founded and facilitated by NHAA member Pete Weissbrod, meets on the third Thursday of each month to discuss current project ideas, upcoming exhibitions, community engagement and volunteer efforts.

Upcoming Exhibition

Reclaimed / Renewed / Redeemed, Earth Tones’ debut exhibition, will take place in September at NHAA’s Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery. The show will feature artwork incorporating recycled materials and marine debris collected during beach cleanups in early 2026.
