INSTALLING WORK
Hanging and wall labeling of works are the responsibility of the exhibitor and must be done in accordance with NHAA exhibition standards similar to its’ on-site gallery.
There is NO hanging system at this location. Artists must use standard “J” hooks.
Exhibitors must patch, sand and paint all hanging holes for the next exhibitor.
All work must be hung with wall labels completed by the beginning date of the exhibit. Labels must include artist’s name, title, medium, and price as well as NHAA contact information. Please choose labels that will not damage the donated wall. We recommend using Avery Labels 8663. A Label Template will also be provided for formatting.
There is a small amount of space for artist’s bios/statements and business cards on location.
Artists may choose to display signage about their work as part of their exhibit space.
PUBLICITY:
NHAA will promote the exhibition via website, social media and PR.
For publicity purposes we ask that artists decide on a title/theme for the show (with a brief description if possible), submit bio/artist statement and 1-2 images of work on display (in JPEG format) to NHAA prior to the opening.
If you are promoting the exhibition, please include NHAA’s logo and contact information on all materials.
SALES/COMMISSIONS:
Signage at the location will direct interested buyers to call NHAA to make a purchase. NHAA retains 40% commission on work sold with the balance to be paid to the artist. We ask that sold art remains on the wall for the duration of the show. Exhibiting artist handles delivery of the art upon completion of the show. However, we understand that because of the show’s duration and since visitors may be from out of town, a customer may want to take the work sooner or have it shipped.
If they want to take it sooner, we ask that the artist handles delivery of the work.
If they want to have the work shipped, we ask that the artist picks up the work, calculates the shipping costs and makes arrangements with the customer.
It is the responsibility of the artist to replace the work with a comparable piece along with the wall label as soon as possible after the sale is made and work removed.
Work may not leave the gallery during the exhibit period without receipt of payment. By exhibiting your work at this location, you agree to allow NHAA to have exclusive rights to exhibit and sell your work both at this offsite location and in an online gallery on the NHAA website during the exhibit period. NHAA works hard to promote and support the sale of your artwork during your exhibit. If a sale occurs after the exhibit as a result of the buyer seeing the piece online or in person, you agree that you will contact NHAA so that we can process the sale using the terms and conditions stated in this prospectus.
LIABILITY:
NHAA and the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any artwork from any cause regardless of fault. Submitting artwork indicates agreement to these terms by the artist.
