Seasons by Carla Zwahlen

at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce | January 14th - March 13th

Exhibition Story

NH Art Association, in collaboration with The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to present Seasons, an exhibition of memorable landscapes by Carla M Zwahlen, on view January 14th to March 13th.

In Seasons, painter Carla M. Zwahlen invites viewers into a journey through land, sea, and mountains, capturing the shifting moods of nature through oil, pastel, and mixed media. Drawing from a lifetime of memorable landscapes, Zwahlen’s work is both intimate and expansive; rooted in personal experience while resonating with universal rhythms of change and memory.

A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, Zwahlen has exhibited widely throughout New England in solo and invitational shows, with work held in private collections across the United States, France, and Switzerland. Her paintings are also included in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s permanent art collection. Notably, her pastel The Blue Lady, displayed at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, has served as a source of encouragement for patients and their families, underscoring the quiet power of art to comfort and inspire.

Zwahlen works from her studio in Mont Vernon, NH, where she also mentors young artists and musicians, helping students find confidence and expression through both visual art and piano. Seasons will run from Jan 14th to March 13th at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, located at 49 South Main Street, Suite 104, in Concord, from September 9th-Nov 10th.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check the Chamber’s website at https://www.concordnhchamber.com for hours before visiting, as they may vary. All work is for sale by contacting the N.H. Art Association at 603-431-4230.
