Marilene Sawaf has a piece entitled Hsiu With the Red Fan exhibiting in the Portraits in the Now show at the Copley society of Art in Boston.

Jim Wolcott has work on display at the Kimball Jenkins Estate in Concord, NH.

Vandy Leigh is working on opening an Arts Center in East Kingston, NH. This center would be a great addition to the Seacoast Area as it will offer individual artist studio spaces, classes, workshops and demonstrations.

Heather Crowley of Willow Road Watercolors will have her semiannual studio open house on Sat. Nov. 4 & Sun. Nov. 5 from 10AM-4PM as part of The Seacoast Fine Art & Sugar Tour during NH Open Doors. Over a dozen Exeter area artists will be participating in this self-guided tour, including Heather and her husband’s sugar house. Christine Blain is having a solo show at the New Hampshire Technical Institute from Nov. 2 – Dec. 7. Entitled Coastal Life: Boats and Harbors of Maine and New Hampshire, this exhibit captures the beauty of the seacoast, showcasing many of the quiet harbors and boats along coastal New England.

Elizabeth D’Amico will be exhibiting 53 of her pieces in her show “Opening Doors to the Heart, Mind and Imagination” at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction, Vermont from Sept. 15 – Nov. 3. Address is 74-76 Gates Street White River Junction and the opening reception is Oct. 6 from 5PM-7PM.

David Zerba will be the featured artist at the Kennedy Gallery, right here in Portsmouth for the month of October.  Opening reception is Oct. 7 from 5PM-8PM. And he will be a part of “What Artists Look Like 2017” exhibit at Discover Portsmouth from Friday Nov. 3 through Dec. 23!

Diane and Ron St. Jean are pleased to present some of their artwork in two simultaneous displays at the Epsom Public Library. Diane’s collection of paintings is titled “The Inner Landscape.” These abstract paintings are mementos of time spent in nature. Ron’s collection of photographs is titled “Pretty Common Things.” Ron likes to photograph ordinary objects and familiar scenes in a way that suggests a story, or reveals details that may not be noticed at first glance. The exhibit will be on view from October 5 through November 25. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, October 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. All are welcome!

NHAA Members (Sherie Dowsett, Jane Copp, Jean Cronin Connolly, Debbie Campbell and P. Michael Benham) will be exhibiting at the Center for the Arts at the New London Inn Micro Gallery in New London, NH. This exhibition runs from Nov. 2017 -Jan. 2018.
