Denise Brown will be exhibiting a new series of horse paintings at the Discover Portsmouth Center in Portsmouth, NH. Directions can be found at http://www.portsmouthhistory.org/discover_portsmouth_center/.
Paul Glorioso's sculpture "Will You Please Take Care of Me" will be exhibited as a part of the national exhibition "Wounded in Action". The exhibition is "a tribute to the heroes who have served their countries in wars throughout the world." An exhibition schedule can be found on the website under the link to "Exhibits."
Shaune McCarthy is having an exhibition of eight sculptures at the Elizabeth A. Beland Gallery, Essex Art Center, Lawrence MA.
Marcia Santore is included in the WCA/NH Annual Signature Exhibition, "6 X 6". 25 other artists from throughout New Hampshire are in the show as well. It is taking place at the Historic Belknap Mill Museum, first floor gallery in Laconia, NH from Nov 4 thru Nov 22, 2010. All works are 6" by 6" and sell for $66.
Thomas Berger will participate in an outdoor sculpture exhibition as one of 5 sculptors displaying their work in a beautiful garden setting at Green Art in Kittery. The show is titled ‘Organic Experiences’ and will take place from May 14th to June 25th. The reception is open to the public and will be held on Saturday, May 14, from 2pm to 5pm. Green Art is a sculpture gallery and nursery located at 30 US Route 1-Bypass in Kittery. For more information please visit

Estelle Smith has been selected and published in this year's "Best of America Watermedia Artists" Vol II. Her work can be found on page 101 and 102 in the book (108 and 109 online). Her work can also be seen online at www.estellensmith.com.
Paul Wainwright's new book, A Space for Faith: The Colonial Meetinghouses of New England (Randall, $35) has been named as a finalist in the prestigious New England Book Awards. These awards are presented by the New England Independent Booksellers Association at their annual trade show each year in September.

Richard Widhu and Loretta Hubley are exhibiting their paintings and prints at the Parish Center for the Arts in Westford, MA through December 26, 2010. Both artists have created art inspired by the spiritual attitude towards nature. Loretta's work is inspired by the landscapes of many countries. She exhibits widely and teaches at River College. Richard who often includes calligraphic marks in his art exhibits nationally and has had work published in art publications. Gallery hours are Sundays Noon to 2:30 PM or by appointment.
