CONCORD – A new selection of work by members of the New Hampshire Art Association will be displayed in the halls of 2 Pillsbury St., in Concord, through June.
Mary Crump of Concord and Marilu Arket of the Seacoast will present “Visions of Wonder,” which includes paintings and mixed-media works.
Crump, a member of the N.H. Plein Air Painters, works in watercolors and oils and features lots of landscapes in her work.
Arket, a mixed-media artist, will have some vibrantly colored abstract pieces on display.
“Color and nature are powerful forces,” Arket said in a statement. “They can evoke a range of feelings within us in a matter of seconds. For me, nature is an endless source of inspiration and the master artist that teaches color theory and mixture, shape and form, and how subtle nuances of light effect color and emotion.”
Art is available for viewing in the lobby Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday 7 to 11 a.m.
