NHAA artists reach out to communities throughout New Hampshire. In the past we have worked with the New Hampshire Association of the Blind, the Seacoast Mental Health Center, and the New Hampshire Children’s Museum, among others to bring artists together with non-traditional audiences, and to give these special audiences access to art and artists.

Collaborations, Community Outreach, and Education
Art of Recovery
NHAA collaborated with the Seacoast Mental Health Center for the 1st Annual Art of Recovery Celebration to honor creativity in the recovery process.
The Seacoast Mental Health Center’s Art of Recovery program seeks professional mentor artists. For the past five years, up to twelve of its clients, with artistic abilities, have bene paired with a professional artist. Together, they create two pieces of art to be sold in the Art Of Recovery silent auction. The professional artists, who donate their time and their talent, include members of the New Hampshire Art Association, the Kittery Art Association, the Seacoast Art Association and the NH Society of Photographic Artists. This year in addition, to the Art of Recovery Art Auction, these artists will be displaying their work at the NHAA during the month of April. Contact Libby Rust to sign up email@example.com
Art Connects is an initiative formed with New Hampshire Art Association and New Hampshire Institute of Art. This is also part of a national organization.Their mission connects artists and donors to community service organizations through the placement of original artwork.
